About the Authors J. Stanley Shaw is one of the preeminent bankruptcy attorneys in the United States and the senior partner of the law firm Shaw, Licitra, Bohner, Esernio & Schwartz, in Garden City, New York. He lives with his wife, Doris, in Bayside, New York, and Hallandale, Florida. Peter Golden is a journalist whose work has appeared in numerous national newspapers and magazines. Golden has won awards for writing excellence from the New York State Bar Association and the American Society of Business Press Editors. He is also the author of Quiet Diplomat, a biography of industrialist and political-insider Max M. Fisher. Golden lives in Albany, New York, with his wife, Annis, and son, Benjamin.
